"Sum up Raghunatha Das Goswami's whole prayer in one word and it is gratitude. Those who value the treasures already received get more; those who take them for granted lose even what they had."
Have you noticed how fast a gift turns into a habit? The first paycheck is a celebration; a year later the same sum feels ordinary. Friends, health, a roof over your head quietly slide into the category of "owed to me", and we stop seeing them at all. Raghunatha Das Goswami's prayer boils down to one word — gratitude. And he says it plainly, like a law of life: those who value the treasures already received are given more; those who take it all for granted have even what they had taken away, and never notice how poor they have grown. A grateful person pays attention — he sees who put what into his life, and so he receives more. The ungrateful one goes blind to gifts and stops noticing them.
Name three things today you received and have long assumed were owed to you.
