"You may have millions of dollars, drive a Ferrari, sail your yacht wherever you like — but if you have no one close, no one to share it with, you're left completely empty. True happiness comes from love."
We're used to measuring success by things: earn more, buy the car, the house, take the trip you've dreamed of. It feels like the answer — get all of it, and then I'll be happy. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu turns the picture over with a simple example. Suppose a man has millions of dollars, a Ferrari at the door, a yacht, cruises anywhere he pleases. But if there's not one close person beside him, no one to share it with — he's left completely empty. So it was never the things we were after. The most attractive thing we seek our whole life is love: to have someone near, someone to give warmth to and receive it from. Even the chase for money hides the same hunger. And happiness, the lecture says, comes from love.
Behind all you're chasing — aren't you simply looking for love?
