"Who is the richest person in the world? … The wealthiest man in the world? Who is that? Elon Musk? Or Jeff Bezos? I don't know. … Or Bill Gates. … From the spiritual point of view, then they're all beggars, if they are not ātmārāma."
You lost your temper, said it all — and for a minute it felt like relief. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu likens it to a pressure cooker: you take the lid off, the steam escapes, and inside there is emptiness. Then he points to a beggar in the street: he sits with a tin bowl and waits. A coin clinks in — happy for a few moments; nothing given — instantly sad. Passers-by decide his whole mood. And then the question: who is the richest man in the world? Musk, Bezos, Gates — they are still competing. Yet the richest man too is a soul living in a body: he wakes up begging for someone to please his senses, or the day is spoiled. The bowl is simply bigger. Truly wealthy is the one who is ātmārāma: he already has everything.
One round — asking nothing from anyone.
