"This human form is rare: it comes after many, many births, and it can give the supreme benefit. But it is anitya — temporary. A window has opened, and that window is very narrow. Life is short."
We know how to value rare things: a ticket that comes once in a lifetime, a door few are let through. Almost no one thinks that way about human life itself. That is where Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu begins: whoever has attained this form should know it is rare — su-durlabha. It comes after many, many births, and it alone can give the supreme benefit. Yet it is as anitya, as temporary, as all the others. A window has opened to make one's existence perfect — and that window is very narrow. Life is short. So what should one do, he asks. And he answers without pressure: quickly, with your full endeavour, go for what this form was given for — and don't fall back into the endless chain of birth and death.
The window is still open. What will you do with it today?
