"Problems come like waves in the ocean. We think: once I solve this problem, everything will be good. But does one wave ever come alone? How many are behind it?"
There is always one item on the list that seems to be in the way of living: clear the debt, get the test results, survive this quarter. And we sincerely believe that right behind it the calm life begins. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu shows that belief from the outside: problems come like waves in the ocean. One wave reaches the shore — and what, is the sea finished? The next one is already on its way, and another, and another. As long as a person takes the body to be himself, all he does is fight them off — and that will never make him happy. Deeper still lies this: the very hope for happiness inside all that — "once I finish, once I get it" — is itself the cause of all suffering.
For one round, fix nothing — just stay where there are no waves.
