Philosophy is intimidating: it seems you must sort out the terms first, and only then practise. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu ends his lecture by removing that fear. He had spoken for an hour and a half about difficult things, then said: all this may seem abstract, but if you will chant, you will see everything I said with your soul's own eyes. And if you are not a philosopher or a scholar by nature, that is no obstacle: chant the Name, serve — and knowledge and detachment come by themselves, spontaneously. Then he gives an ordinary step: get a mala from the devotees and begin. Every day your own quiet private meditation, where the mind gathers and consciously connects with God. That is what yoga means — connection.
