"Millions of blades of grass in the field, and not one shouts, "look at me, check out my Instagram." Mahaprabhu said: be humbler than grass. That's not weakness — it's freedom."
Step out into a field and look at the grass. Millions of blades, and not one leaps up shouting, "Look at me! Check out my Instagram!" Not one waits for likes, not one craves to be noticed and approved. They simply are. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu said: become humbler than a blade of grass. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu adds with a smile — and it's hard: even a blade of grass has a drop of pride, it thinks "I am a blade of grass." To be humbler means letting go of that too: to stop clinging to "I'm successful, I'm clever, I deserve to be noticed." Look how much energy we pour into being appreciated — and what a quiet weight it is. Humility doesn't degrade you; it frees you.
For one day, stop gathering approval. Become light, like grass.
