"Abhimanyu has gone away for a long time — but Krishna, to see Radhika, will dress up as him and come to her right under the guard's nose."
Krishna is aching to meet Radhika, but she is in her father-in-law's house, under the sleepless eye of her mother-in-law Jatila. Vrinda-devi lays a plan: "Do not worry, Krishna. I will send a parrot with word to Lalita, she will tell Vishakha, and Vishakha will come and bring you — and you will see Radha". And so Krishna, disguised as Abhimanyu, Radhika's husband, sets out for her. But at that very hour the real Abhimanyu, short of gold to buy his cows, is turning back home — to his mother for more money. And Jatila, returning from the Yamuna, suddenly grows wary: "Aha! In the forest I heard a sarika, a hen-parrot, whispering to her mate: Abhimanyu has gone away for a long time, but Krishna, to see Radha, will dress up as him — and come to her right under my very nose!" The secret they guarded so well was blurted out even by the birds in the branches. Such is the daring of this love: it walks right under the guard's nose — and is so unstoppable that the parrots chatter of it through the whole forest.
Dare to draw near to the Name — like a lover under the guard's nose.
