"Actually, for the devotee there is no suffering, but there is one suffering, and that is kṛṣṇa-bhakta-viraha, separation from the pure devotee."
When ŚrīlaRūpaGosvāmī left this world, RaghunāthaDāsaGosvāmī, who had received his mercy, fell into an ocean of grief and could find no place for himself. He prays: O RūpaGosvāmī, without you the whole world is an empty, desolate wasteland. All this Vraja-maṇḍala gave me so much joy, but now you are not here, and it is empty. He cannot even look at Girirāja Govardhana: the hill seems to him the gaping mouth of a python, coming to swallow him.
Chant this round for the one who brought you to the Name.
