"Therefore one should accept the gopī's bhāva and day and night remember their bihāra … One should realize internally his spiritual form, and in that spiritual form serve Rādhā Kṛṣṇa — in the mood of the sakhī he will attain the lotus feet of Rādhā Kṛṣṇa."
Rāmānanda draws the line plainly: neither those identified with the body, nor those freed from bodily consciousness, nor even Brahmā, Śiva and Lakṣmīdevī can hold Kṛṣṇa the way the residents of Vraja held Him here. And at once he gives the path for the jīva. Accept the mood of the gopīs. Day and night remember their vihāra, their loving pastimes. For one able to remember in this way the siddha-deha will manifest — the inner spiritual form — and service will come in it. And in the mood of a sakhī the feet of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa open.
