"Spread the news everywhere: God is like electricity, He's like space, empty space. Then who will love God? Does anyone love space?"
Ask a random person whether God exists and you will often hear something careful: "there is something. Some energy, a field, a light." Nobody argues. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu tests that faith with one move. Fine — spread the news across the world: God is electricity, God is empty space. Then who is going to love God? Does anyone dream of meeting space? Sit down at a table across from it, gaze at space, and space gazes back — how romantic. It is funny, and that is the whole argument: there is nothing in space to love. The Vedas say otherwise: God has a beautiful spiritual form. Form seems to us a limit, since every form we have seen is limited. But that measuring stick is taken from the material world.
Test your faith with a simple question: can this be loved?
