"Every day that passes is gone and it will never come back. … Every day has a number and it's a limited edition. When it's gone, it's gone."
Collectors know the weight of the words "limited edition." Such a thing is released in a tiny run, and once it's sold out — that's it, never again, at any price. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu says: each of your days is exactly that. It has a number, it was issued once and only once, and there will never be another quite like it. This Saturday has slipped away — nothing brings it back. We're strangely made: rare objects we keep under glass, yet the days, worth incomparably more, we let run through our fingers as if the supply were endless. But the supply is limited, and no one has told us how many editions our series holds. This isn't cause for anxiety — it's cause to treat today as the irreplaceable thing it is.
Treat this day as something that won't repeat. Because it won't.
