"Krishna is in control of everything, and He is not a bumbling fool who dropped the ball: it is all run perfectly. Don't interfere and criticize — and know the Lord is the best friend of everyone."
Something goes against you, and the protest rises at once: wrong shape, wrong time, wrong person. We argue with what has already happened, as if we had a better option. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu puts it bluntly and cheerfully: the One in control is no bumbling fool who dropped the ball; everything is run perfectly, and our criticism only drops us into duality. Accept what comes without protest and look for the silver lining in the cloud. Then he adds what makes it bearable: the Lord is not only in control — He is the best friend of everyone, and the situations in our life He creates for our growth. A man matures, stops protesting, and sees: those experiences were smoothing the rough edges of his character.
Whatever comes today, accept it and say: this is from a friend.
