"Unexpected things happen… we say, well, that had nothing to do with me. But just as the unexpected things come, the expected things are also coming by the laws of karma. … Who is initiating the activities?"
Every Friday the paycheck arrives, and the mind draws a rule: I do this, I get that. Life confirms it for a while, and we believe we produce our own results. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu catches us in the trick — what works we credit to ourselves, what fails we disown: "that had nothing to do with me." Yet both arrive by the same law, by karma, not because we made them. A person plans in the morning, today I will do this and get that, and on the way the plane crashes. The soul does not initiate the act, does not perform it, does not join you to its fruit. Then where does it all come from? The lecture does not rush the answer — it lets the question ring: if you are not the author, then who?
Before you say "I did this," quietly ask: was it really me?
