"A poor orphan is starving — no home, no money. Someone comes: "I know who you are — you're the son of this wealthy man." A DNA test — it's true. And he goes to live in a palace. We're just like that."
Picture a street child: in rags, no home, no name — sure that he's nobody, a castoff tossed about. Then a man stops him: "I know who you are. You're the son of this wealthy man." They run a DNA test — it's true. The boy is not one gram different from yesterday — the only change is that he learned whose son he is. And now he lives in a palace with his father. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu says: we are exactly like that. The Upanishads call us amṛtasyaputrāḥ, the sons of immortality: we are kin to Krishna, the eternal nectar, not to this world that keeps tossing us about. You are not the beggar you thought you were. You have an inheritance — and a place beside Him. You just haven't read your test result yet.
Today, remember: I'm not this world's castoff — I'm a son of immortality.
