"If God is for us only the creator and maintainer of this world, the picture is egocentric: my cosmos, me the hero, and Him a judge in the sky handing out parking tickets."
Ask yourself what God is busy with. The answer usually comes out like this: He watches from above, keeps the ledger, sends trouble to some and success to others. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu calls that picture egocentric — and it is: the cosmos is mine, I live in it, I am the central hero of the drama, and God is the judge in the sky handing out tickets. Is that His whole day? Watching you eat ice cream and stare at the TV? Just the waves of karma going back and forth? No. The One behind it all has a world of His own — eternal, beautiful, free of suffering. And there He is busy not with supervision but with loving play among His dear ones. There the center is not a separate "I" but Him, loved by everyone.
Ask today not about your affairs: what is Your life like at home?
