"Unless you become satisfied within yourself, nothing will ever satisfy you. Show me one person with a hundred million dollars who is satisfied."
The ladder is familiar: you have a thousand, so you think about a hundred thousand; a million arrives and a hundred million appears on the horizon, and relief seems to wait there. Śrī Prem Prayojan Prabhu offers a simple test: show me one person with a hundred million who is satisfied. He does not retire — he wants a billion. The amount is not the point. The atma, the soul, is spiritual, and no external thing becomes food for it: the figure grows, the hunger stays. Picture a hamster in a glass jar: scratching the glass is its nature, it cannot stop, and the glass never gives way. The more we get, the sharper the lack. Until a person is satisfied within himself — ātmārāma — nothing outside will satisfy him.
Before adding one more zero to the figure, ask who it will feed.
