"Would any wise person hand a soft lotus to a wild elephant? Such a flower is tasted only by a gentle, careful bee."
Everything in Vraja is arranged by the sakhis — even the meeting of Radha and Krishna. They bring the lovers together, kindle the lila, and then savour it themselves. Radhika sits down; Krishna arrives. The sakhis coax the reluctant Radhika to soften toward him a little — and the very moment she yields a touch, Krishna boldly catches her by the edge of her garment. All the sakhis glance at one another in mock outrage: "Did you see that? Did you see what he did?!" Then Lalita-sakhi leads Radhika to Krishna and places her hand in his — but the instant Krishna lunges to embrace her, she pulls Radhika back: "What are you doing? Would any wise person hand a soft lotus to a wild elephant? Such a flower is tasted only by a gentle, careful bee". And Krishna must become that bee. So both Radha and Krishna himself are wholly in the hands of the sakhis: they govern the very lila of the Lord.
Trust those who lead you to the Name — even Krishna is led by the hand.
