"But you notice the word here — prāyaḥ. Prāyaḥ means almost. That means He is almost always under the control of His beloved. He is controlled by their love, but there are some certain exceptions."
The verse on the dhīra-lalita does not say always — it says almost. And here is the exception: He disappears from the rāsa, having already taken Rādhikā away alone, having shown His preference for her — and He leaves even her. She cried out and fainted. Then a goddess of the heavenly planets comes to her — He Himself in disguise — and offers His sympathy: I was flying past in my airplane and I saw that day, how He treated you; you love Him so, and he wounded you so; how can you say that Kṛṣṇa is a great lover? And Rādhikā said: oh yes, yes, of course. But still His love is pure.
Let today's rounds carry the place where He was not there.
